Request for Suspension of Studies (Academic Leave) for the 2026/2027 Academic Year
University of Oran 2 Mohamed Ben Ahmed informs all students that the platform for submitting academic leave applications is open for the 2026/2027 academic year.
Application Submission Period
From 03/11/2026 to 03/12/2026
Academic leave allows students to temporarily suspend their university studies for exceptional reasons, in accordance with the regulations in force.
Eligible Reasons for Academic Leave
Academic leave may be granted for the following exceptional reasons:
- Disabling chronic illness;
- Maternity;
- Long-term illness;
- National service;
- Family obligations involving parents or children, or the relocation of a spouse or parents for professional reasons;
- Serious accidents.
Important Notice
Academic leave may be granted only once during the student's university studies. Each application must be accompanied by the required supporting documents.
How to Submit an Application
Students concerned are invited to access the dedicated online platform, complete the application form and upload the required supporting documents within the specified submission period.
